House party !!!

This little cardboard house was a big hit at Corinne’s 2nd birthday party. One of my favorite parts of the party was watching while the kids on the outside of the house shoved balloons in one window while the kids on the inside pushed them back out of the other windows.

No egg-free organic cupcakes this year. Corinne celebrated two years old with two different kinds of cake. (She got back on track the next morning though, with organic milk on her organic cereal that she ate out of an organic bowl.)

This might not be the last time these four are in a line-up.

Giftmas day in the morning

We came down the steps and as soon as we turned the corner Corinne yelled BIKE! I didn’t even know that she could say the word bike but it made my day.

Corinne and Faylinn both watched intently while mommy opens a fragile gift.

Christmas number two takes place on Christmas eve. at aunt Laura’s house. Here Corinne is sitting with aunt Steph and she’s wearing a new hat that Steph made for her.

The third and final Christmas was at Nana and Pop Pop’s house. Corinne patiently tore one piece of wrapping paper off at a time and handed it to aunt Sheri. Wait, maybe it was aunt Sheri that was the patient one…

We started a tradition when Corinne was still in the belly that we would buy them a special ornament for the tree each year that we will give to them when they have a tree of their own someday. This year Corinne got a bear reading a story to a baby bear.

Snow day

We couldn’t get the powdery snow to stay together well enough to make a snowman so we had to settle for the snow blob.

Weekend at Cameron’s

These are some pictures from last Sunday when we were hanging out at Corinne’s friend Cameron’s house. Cameron got a new swing set this past summer which kept the kids entertained for a while.

I think what is pictured below might be one of the cutest things I have ever witnessed. Without any encouraging Corinne and Cameron gave each other a big hug.
