Corinne

I asked Corinne to hold up 2 and 1/2 fingers so i could take a picture for this blog post. She concentrated really hard and came up with what you see above.

For her 2 and 1/2 year old doctor’s appointment Corinne had to get 2 vaccines. I wanted her to make a sad face while she posed with her band aids covering up her ouchies but this happy little kid couldn’t even fake a frown.

I got the girls dressed up in the dresses that great grandma got them for Easter so I could take a picture of them to send to her for her 89th birthday. This is one of the few shots that I got with both of them looking at the camera.

Corinne used the potty for the first time today (not pictured). I was at work but I had actually called to check in on my lunch break when this momentous achievement occurred. We are waiting anxiously for a repeat performance…

Earlier this month we went to Hershey, Pennsylvania for the weekend. We visited Hershey Park, Hershey Gardens, the Hershey Chocolate Experience, and the Hershey Story Museum. I was surprised how many rides there were at Hershey Park that Corinne could go on. She even went on a few of the rides by herself.

Corinne is enjoying spring by spending time at the parks, going for walks, and coloring on the sidewalk.

Ever since Corinne became mobile it has been a lot more difficult to photograph her. She likes to get really really close to the camera, point at the lens, and look at the display on the back of the camera. But none of that makes for very good pictures. Recently she seems to be getting more comfortable with the camera. On a couple of occasions she even said to me “I want to take pictures”. Below are some of the results of this new found cooperation.

Faylinn is slowly but surely getting more physically active each day. Corinne seems to be excited, although at times maybe a little inpatient waiting for her little playmate to, well… be able to play. In the picture below Corinne was going in for a little kiss but I think Faylinn had something else in mind.
