5000 photos and counting
In just over a year I’ve taken about 5000 photos of Corinne. It would be pretty much impossible to choose my favorite picture to commemorate the occasion but this is one my favorites from the last 48 hours.

Valentine’s day was a pretty low key affair this year. To start off the day I made breakfast for Cynde and Corinne (belgian waffles for Cynde and an organic egg free waffle for Corinne). That afternoon we went to a hand drawn noodle house in Chinatown then walked around center city for a little while. That night we waited until after we put Corinne to bed then we had dinner for two at home.
Here are a couple other pictures from the last few days.
Corinne’s second year got off to a rough start with a wicked cold that lasted over a week, but she is back to her old energetic self again now. The picture below is a snapshot of Corinne playing peek-a-boo. We used to initiate this game but now she uses her bib, a burp cloth, or anything else she can get her hands on for a little impromptu fun. We get the biggest laughs if we act like she startled us.
We picked up this collapsible tunnel at Ikea just before Corinne’s birthday. She didn’t know quite what to make of it at first but now she loves it.
On the same visit to Ikea we snapped some photos of Corinne with this birthday cake looking thing on her head. I was kind of surprised that she left this on long enough for me to take the picture since she usually pulls off any kind of hat or hood immediately.
This is a picture of Corinne checking out the fish at the aquarium.
